Hooking with Textures Feb 2012 Fredericton

Hooking with Textures
Doris Norman, Rug Hooker
Thursdays 6-9 pm
A fun rug hooking course that encourages students to bring various textures to class and design a geometric or pictorial pattern to accommodate the fabric. Texture adds dimension and depth to hooked mats. It lifts the mat from a flat surface to an interesting work of art and makes the person want to reach out and touch the surface. There will be wools, yarns and patterns available for those not wishing to design.
Early contact with instructor is important, so that she will be prepared for the student needs.

Supplies: No cost for backing and fabrics brought to class
